Two teenagers struck by a truck after attempting to take selfie on the road (photos)

Two teenagers on a road trip with friends in Turkey died after being hit by a truck while attempting to take a selfie on a road. The pair were part of the group of five young men who had taken a hired car to travel on a trip from Alanya to Antalya, on the south-west coast of Turkey.

Sokoto state governor Tambuwal presents N174.3b budget

Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, today Wednesday Dec. 30th presented a budget estimate of N174.35 billion Naira for the 2016 fiscal year with education getting the biggest sectoral allocation of 29 percent. Presenting the report before the state House of Assembly, Tambuwal revealed that the sum of N123.8 billion Naira has been set aside for Capital expenditure while N50.5 billion Naira has been set aside for Recurrent expenditure.

Former West Ham goalkeeper Pavel Srnicek dies at the age of 47

Former Newcastle United, Sheffield Wednesday and West Ham goalkeeper Pavel Srnicek has died at the age of 47. Srnicek suffered a cardiac arrest in Czech Republic while running on Dec. 20th and has been in coma since then. His life support was pulled off yesterday after his family gave the go-ahead.


Mikel Obi: Chelsea's atmosphere's much better now than under Jose Mourinho

Chelsea and Nigeria midfielder John Mikel Obi says Chelsea is much more happier under Guus Hiddink and have a better atmosphere in the team than under former manager Jose Mourinho, who was removed by the club owner, Roman Abramovich, before Chelsea's 3-1 victory over Sunderland on 19 December. Obi said;
"We’ve moved on and the atmosphere has improved since the change of manager. It’s fine now, we’ve just not been getting results. José is a fantastic manager and will always be a fantastic guy. But sometimes football is a cruel game and you have to move on.

Lol. Things we see every day. A priest in the Philippines has been suspended by the church after video shared on social media showed him gliding on a hoverboard while preaching during mass.

The video which has racked up millions of views, showed Father Albert San Jose from the Philippines Diocese of San Pablo gliding on a hoverboard during a Christmas Eve mass at the Lady of Miraculous Medal church in Biñan town.

While the parishioners enjoyed seeing their priest having a good time, the stunt did not go down well with the priest’s bishop.

A Ghostly Christmas tree lights last week appeared in the window of abandoned Charity Hospital in New Orleans that has been empty since 2005. The photos quickly went viral with many saying ghosts had their Christmas celebrations in the abandoned building but the police has a different theory. They say the lights were wrapped on boards and they are investigating the incident as a break-in.

ISIS releases 15 rules handbook detailing how captured sex slaves should be treated

Dreaded terrorist group ISIS are at it again! A "fatwa" was issued by the terrorist organization back in January according to documents seized by the Anti-ISIS US Special Operations Forces which have just been released. The document entails rules on how ISIS members are to treat women captured as sex slaves.

 The terrorist organization captures women who they give out to their fighters as rewards and incentives, the women are raped repeatedly, sometimes by more than one person. 16-year-old commits suicide after being raped as punishment

A 16-year-old girl in India was found hanging on Christmas day after apparently taking her life. She had been kidnapped and gang-raped as punishment for her mother winning a local election. She went to the police with her mother to report the matter but she wasn't taken seriously. Feeling humiliated and traumatised, she took her own life. It was only after her death that police swung into action and arrested two suspects.

Footballer's 2yr old son hijacks his twitter account & tweets nursery rhyme compilation

Manchester City captain and defender Vincent Kompany's son managed to hijack his phone and flooded his Twitter timeline with nursery rhymes and links to nursery rhyme videos. The defender's fans, who didn't know a 2 year old was behind the tweets, started asking him if he was OK...lol.

Company later came on Twitter to clarify the tweets, attributing them to his two year old son. But can a 2 year old do this? See more tweets after the cut...

A dead whale's stomach contents has shocked observers after it was torn open after it beached on paradise sands in South Africa. The Whale, named Orca was discovered washed up at Plettenberg Bay on South Africa's Western Cape the week before Christmas. When its stomach was opened, it's content surprised everyone. Man caught masturbating on a train while staring at a woman (photo)

A male passenger on a train traveling northbound in New York City on Sunday has been accused by Police of performing a sex act on himself for 30 minutes while staring at a 29 year old woman.

Police released this image of the man and accused him of putting his hand down his trousers and stimulating his penis while staring at the woman not concerned if people were looking at him or not.
