Police explains rise in female suicide bombings in Nigeria
Addressing newsmen at the National Information Center yesterday, Mr Mba said Boko Haram men now use women because they raise fewer suspicions.
"If you have been following the trends of terrorism worldwide, you will understand that use of female suicide bombers is actually not totally new. It is actually a new trend in our own part of the world. The reasons why established international terrorist organizations go for female suicide bombers is clear. The major reason is that women raise fewer suspicions, particularly with security layers, and so they take advantage of the fact that women raise fewer suspicion to try to indoctrinate and recruit female suicide bombers. The suspicion even becomes much lesser if the woman in question is a minor and that explains why. In addition to that is the fact that by rules of engagement that we are cultured to, male security operatives are not allowed to frisk or search females but we are equally developing counter terrorism strategies to deal with that.” he said

Guests using toilet at posh hotel can be seen by passers-by after window design blunder
Several passers-by on the street below the 25hours Hotel Bikini Berlin have been taking pictures of guests at the hotel as they use the toilets in their room, prompting the hotel to put up notices which read: ‘Please be careful, not only the monkeys are watching", pending when they fix the blunder
According to reports, the architect who designed the restaurant area in the 25hours Hotel Bikini Berlin thought the toilets should be placed next to the floor-to-ceiling windows, despite the building being only ten storeys tall.
The hotel, which offers great views of the Berlin Zoo, unfortunately also now offers jobless pedestrians an eye-ful if they look up.
10 year old girl found wearing explosive device apparatus in Katsina
The DG of the National Information Center, Mr Mike Omeri said this while briefing news men at the National Information Center;
"Security forces on Tuesday, July 29, at about 10pm along Zaria Road, Tudun Wada of Funtua Metropolis, arrested three suspects believed to be members of the Boko Haram sect. The three suspects consisted a male named Iliya Haliru, and two females – Zainab Musa, 18, and Hadiza Musa, 10. The three suspects were arrested in a Honda CRV. When they were directed to disembark for security check, 10-year-old Hadiza was discovered to have been strapped with an explosive belt. And immediately, Iliya and Zainab made attempt to escape with the car but were later blocked by other concerned Nigerians and subsequently arrested. The police successfully unstrapped the explosive.”He appealed to parents to monitor their wards so they do not get initiated into such evil acts.

Association of the Chibok community, Dauda Iliya said contrary to media
reports, they didn't receive N100m from the presidency. He said only
N200,000 was handed to some of the parents.
"On July 22nd at about midnight, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Special duties who has been coordinating the visit from the side of the presidency visited the hotel and told the 51 escaped girls who came that the Presidency sent them a token of a N100, 000 each and accordingly gave them the said money without even a prior knowledge or discussion of any other person in the community that was around the vicinity of the hotel. The Senior special assistant equally gave the sum of N200,000 each to 61 parents out of the 122 that came on the visit. 61 parents were given N100,000 each on the basis that the money given to them was not enough to go round at the agreed amount of N200,000 each. The remaining parents were not given any money at all" he said

If Beyonce had tried to defend her husband when her sister attacked him in that elevator, I don't think she would be constantly defending her marriage now. Yesterday rumors spread that Beyonce was divorcing Jay Z after she was allegedly spotted apartment hunting without him.
As the rumors spread yesterday Beyonce calmly posted a picture on Instagram of Jay Z and Blue Ivy captioning the photo, "My favorite hue is Jay Z Blue,', in an effort to rubbish the reports.
Jay Z and Beyonce also have 84 million reasons they have to stay together…

Punch reports that Frederick, who was angry that Oruma had not paid his money, accosted him at the Oza area of the state & seized a property belonging to Frederick, who is an ice cream factory worker from Ebonyi state. A fight broke out between them and Oruma broke a bottle and stabbed Frederick in the neck.
Frederick
lost conciousness after losing so much blood. He was
rushed to a private hospital on a wheelbarrow after several cab drivers
declined to take him.
